Originally released on VHS in 1988, 8Transmissions8 is an experimental video work by Psychick TV combining music videos, ritual performance, montage, and symbolic imagery into a continuous audiovisual collage. Created by the multimedia collective, founded by Genesis P-Orridge and Alex Fergusson after Throbbing Gristle, the tape formed part of Psychic TV’s wider network of underground video releases distributed through Thee Temple ov Psychick Youth (TOPY).
