Published by Shogakukan in April 1981 as a special edition of GORO magazine, Omiyage (“souvenir”) is a YMO photobook following Haruomi Hosono, Ryuichi Sakamoto and Yukihiro Takahashi through their 1980 world tour, from Oxford and London to Hamburg and Rotterdam. Backstage and live photographs sit alongside portraits of each member at home, personal histories, a YMO newspaper, an image collection and comics by Yasuji Tanioka, with a cover by photographer Kenji Miura.
